UMass Boston is a small Division III school in the heart of Boston that plays in the Little East Conference and the New England Hockey Conference (two of the most competitive Division III conferences in New England).

We are looking for broadcasters to do solo play-by-play webcasts for the upcoming 2018-19 academic year. As an athletic department, we broadcast 10 of our Division III sports (M/W Soccer, M/W Basketball, M/W Hockey, Volleyball, Baseball, Softball and Men's Lacrosse) and produced over 125 webcasts this past academic year. We are looking for reliable broadcasters to help us fill out our current group of talented broadcasters.

We are offering the opportunity for broadcasters who are looking to break into the business, stay fresh or add to their resume a chance to be a part of more professional broadcast that will include two directors, multiple cameras, graphics and instant replay. We're looking for broadcasters who want to take on a bigger role in shaping the broadcasts by working with our student directors to come up with a game plan for each part of their webcasts. In terms of pay, new broadcasters will earn 50 dollars per game.

Interested parties should contact myself (seth.orensky@umb.edu) by July 7th with a copy of their resume and a short demo tape of past broadcasts with examples of play-by-play from at least two sports included (a link will be sufficient).

This position is NOT a full-time position.

Please indicate in your cover letter you learned of this opportunity through Sportscasters Talent Agency of America. Send demo and resume to:

UMass Boston Sports Information Assistant
