The Mighty 1090 in San Diego has a rare full-time opening.

We haven’t decided on the daypart just yet, but regardless of shift, the ideal candidate(s) will have solid sports talk experience in a medium to major market and excel in the following areas:

* Passionate personality with solid knowledge of sports and willingness to engage the San Diego market and its fans.

* The ability to not only discuss Sports but other topics that are important and relevant to Sports Fans as well.

* The discipline of solid prep, knowledge and respect for the strategy and tactics necessary to maximize listening credit in a PPM environment.

* The ability to entertain and connect with our listeners across all platforms, including on-air, socially, through video, blogging and “hitting the streets”.

* The ability to engage and entertain in the paradigm of sports media in 2018.

* We’re not looking for “stats geeks” or “call jammers”.

* We are looking for extraordinary entertainers.
