Schaumburg Flyers Broadcasting Internship

Job Description:
Play-by-play and color commentary duties for all 96 games (home and away)
Travel with team to road games
Assist team’s media relations and public relations departments
Maintain all statistic information
Desired Experience: Quality candidates must be creative-minded, knowledgeable in all aspects of baseball statistics and information, possess solid communications skills and be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Individual must work successfully in a team environment and be able to utilize a wide variety of computer applications. Excellent writing skills preferred, and candidate must have some play-by-play and/or color commentary experience.

Candidates will receive experience in all areas of operation including: stadium operations, media relations, community relations, tickets, promotions, merchandise, marketing, groups, etc.

The Broadcast Intern will be working closely with the Director of Public Relations. Other duties will include, but are not limited to, writing game recaps, updating the team website and assisting in the production of team publications.
