The Fayetteville SwampDogs are seeking a talented, hard working, team player to fill the position of Radio Broadcaster/Media Relations Intern for the 2009 season. The SwampDogs are one of the premier organizations in the Coastal Plain League and the 2007 Organization of the Year.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing the play-by-play for all 28 regular season Coastal Plain League SwampDogs home games, along with exhibition games versus Team USA and Team Red, White and Blue. All games are web cast live via the Internet. The candidate will also host a weekly, half-hour Television Show on local Time Warner Cable Channel.

This position is also responsible for the following:
• Preparing game notes and stat packs for media, coaches and scouts at home games;
• Preparing roster insert for scorecard at home games;
• Coordinating all player and mascot appearances;
• Maintenance of team-owned broadcasting equipment;
• Maintaining the press box and other media accommodations at home games;
• Overseeing all post game reports, including: game recap, box scores and press releases that are distributed to media outlets, Internet sites and the league office;
• Other duties as assigned
