This is a fabulous topic.

Lou Riggs taught sportscasting in SoCal for many years. I've encountered many people who benefitted from his teaching. One of his philosophies even came up at a play-by-play retreat that STAA held this summer.

Lou passed away several years ago but his teachings are carried on by the many people whose careers he influenced.

Lou was my mentor, and hugely instrumental to my career advancement. Was a great professor and a great person. If you'd like specific details, send me a direct message, and I'm happy to answer whatever questions you may have.
