Work Experience

• As an intern, learned how to set up and implement equipment and produce broadcasts. Also obtained an FCC broadcast license.
• As an analyst, covered all Columbia football and basketball games and most baseball and soccer games.
• Served for eighteen months as the host of "The Firing Lion," a weekly panel talk show focusing on both Columbia athletics and the wider world of sports.
• Participated in over 130 sports broadcasts between 2008-2011. Was the lead play-by-play broadcaster on Columbia football, basketball, and baseball broadcasts from Fall 2009 to May 2011.

• Interned in the traffic and programming departments.
• Monitored on-air logs, reconciled advertising schedules, and maintained legal affidavits for advertisers.
• As a programming intern, compiled, edited, and organized daily sound clips, cut highlights, and assisted others in the newsroom.
• Received weekly on-air credit as co-producer and call screener of "The Richard Neer Show" on Saturday mornings. (01/2010-06/2010)

• Creator, writer, producer, and host of radio talk show "The Mouth That Roared," a two hour weekly sports program.
• "The Mouth that Roared" featured Ivy League and professional sports analysis with occasional guests.

• Served as a sports columnist for the 2009-2010 school year. The column, entitled "The Mouth that Roared," ran every other week.
• In spring 2010,"The Mouth That Roared" radio show moved online and became a podcast on columbiaspectator.com. The new show took a weekly look at Ivy League football, and featured a regular spot with Columbia head football coach Norries Wilson.

• Gave "The Mouth that Roared Podcast" a national audience by picking up the show for the 2011 Ivy basketball season.
• Featured interviews with Ivy coaches including Penn's Jerome Allen, Yale's James Jones, and Columbia's Kyle Smith while taking a humorous look at all things Ivy basketball.
• Show received over a thousand hits per week on ivygateblog.com.
