SPORTS HOST LEAK OUT AT ATLANTA'S ZONE

(September 5, 2008) After just a few months on the air, the a^?oeAfternoon Saloona^?? at 790/The Zone has already lost one patron: a^?oeHometeama^?? Brandon Leak.
I have no details but hea^?(TM)s no longer on the Web site.. He had worked at the station for eight years. He has a MySpace page which doesna^?(TM)t look like ita^?(TM)s been updated in ages. The showa^?(TM)s two main hosts, Chuck Oliver and Mike Bell, remain. Andrew Saltzman wouldna^?(TM)t say why they cut Leak per se but he noted that 680/The Fan has five local full-time hosts while the Zone still has 10 local full-time hosts. He wouldna^?(TM)t characterize the move as budgetary but in this day and age, virtually all cuts have something to do with finances. |
