HOCKEY ANALYST DEBRUSK LEAVING PHOENIX FOR EDMONTON

(September 5, 2008) Phoenix Coyotes radio analyst Louie DeBrusk has resigned to become an Edmonton Oilers television analyst with Rogers Sportsnet.
DeBrusk - who played 11 seasons in the NHL, including six in Edmonton - spent three seasons in the Coyotes booth. "Any time you're making a career change - to a certain degree it's the same line of work, TV, but it's different from radio - it's an adjustment, the unknown," he said. "Every time you try to make an adjustment like that, there's always some thinking about it, but everything seemed to add up for me." The Coyotes have not named a replacement. |
